Memory Wipe

The memory wipe is to give players and characters the opportunity for a fresh start without biases or baggage, and you must respect this.” Alternatively, a little heavier but a little more community-focused, The point of a memory wipe is to give players and characters the opportunity for a fresh start without biases or baggage. Bob cannot remember Sam, Sam doesn’t remember Bob, and they have a completely non-awkward first meeting.

This is easy. If you have relationships you wish to pre-handshake, just do it. It does not break any ‘memory wipe’ rules.

This is a memory wipe and a server wipe, all possessions will be deleted like everyone else. We’re doing this to reset everyone back – this was a long time coming especially after the economy changes made before Christmas in order to make the server feel less grindy.

You don’t have to forget your character’s backstory but specific storylines with other players are shifted to being backstory without specifics to respect the wishes of other players re-rolling the same character to do a different story.

Penal Code Adjustments

A number of changes have been made to the penal code to give you more opportunities to roleplay! We have new charges for smuggling, desecrating a corpse, manufacturing a controlled substance and more!

Wanna find out? Test your luck! Adjustments have been made to times and fines across the entire code to make them more balanced.

We have added a mechanism for more RP through Citizen’s Arrests as well as making some changes to the Court maximums for Summary and Cell Trials [replacing Bench trial].

We have updated our ruleset to include information on group member limits as well as shifted ‘powergaming, streamsniping and metagaming’ under community rules.

WHAT'S NEW?

NEW HOUSING

We have revised how housing works, you will no longer be given a starter apartment but properties have increased with many unique interiors to certain areas so there’s still equal chance to pick up a slice of land to call yours at even more affordable prices!

(Housing is disabled for the first week of the wipe while everything settles)

Quality Of Life  
- Revised All Notifications Design
- Smarter and quiet detectors
- Improved sound effects and behavior for metal detectors
- Ability to crouch and shoot 
- Stamina is now limited, you can't run forever anymore!
- Join multiple organizations 
If you want to be a police trooper during the day and a mechanic by night, it's up to you!
- Removed government housing
These properties were used as a vault rather than what they were originally intended for. 

Customization
- Hair and makeup separate from clothing stores
You can no longer go to a clothing store to get clothes, hair, tattoos and a makeover
- 3 new masks
- 10 new hairstyles
- Manbun no longer detaches at long range

(This is the first pass on clothing, keep your eyes peeled for new arrivals and more customization in the future)

Police
- Fingerprint characters when jailed 
- Embed new PD handbooks into the MDT.
- Custom player load outs 
PD players can now create/save/retrieve custom gear load outs from the armory.   
- Police alerts have been added to racing, good luck and don't take your foot off the gas!

EMS
- EMS can now spawn several vehicles (Wheelchair, Dinghy) 
- Add EMS object spawning EMS can now spawn several props (Med Bag, Med Container, Cone)  


Vehicle Changes
- Changed starter vehicles
Starter vehicles are now variants of the rusty vehicles
- New PD and EMS vehicle fleet + New liveries
- Removed the nurburgring
-  Glove box support
Most vehicles now have a glove box that can be accessed with "i" when in a vehicle 
- Slow down work vehicles
- Block binocular usage in cars
 
Interiors & Mapping
- Added more tree variety
- Brand new housing interiors unique to certain areas of the map
- Additional changes to the map
New prison, Davis police department, Paleto police department, Rangers station, New Therapist Office, New Traffic Islands & La Fuente Ranch

The armor system has been overhauled and now belongs in your inventory as an item, with individual wears and effectiveness this diversifies the protection available in the city.
